Not What I Was Looking For...

I am not getting the shots of town that I am looking for. But I am getting some cute photos of my kids :) This is "The Rock" at Blackburn. Students are constantly painting it- sometimes just for fun, sometimes with a message. Caleb was calling it, "The EGG!" Maybe someday I will have my husband home again and then I can go out and take some professional photos... On second thought, once my husband is home again, I may never leave the house!

Travel Brochure?

I was just taking a snapshot but once I got this on the computer, this photo made me smile. I wanted to take pictures of summer in Carlinville but haven't had a chance to get out. Jason is using all of his time to work on the house so I don't have a babysitter. Today I loaded up the stroller, grabbed cameras for the kids (they tolerate stops better if they get to do whatever I am doing), and we headed out. This is my favorite photo of the day :) Don't they look like the perfect tourists? Cameras, sunglasses... Too funny :)
