Wedding Day

I got a phone call this morning from a friend and she said, "I am getting married today!" I was in shock! I had just found out a couple days ago that she was dating this guy and next thing I know she is asking if I would take pictures of her wedding at the courthouse in a couple hours! I pray God's blessing upon this marriage.

I took some photos of my newest niece while I was visiting Leah. Isn't she a cutie? Raine was born July 27th and weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces. She was late- 2 weeks past her due date! Welcome to the family Baby Raine!

Cousins

We took LOTS of pictures of this pose to make sure we got one that looked nice. Guess what? This was the first picture that I took! We were very surprised that the three in the back just stood there and didn't immediately wander off.

Newest Additions

My mother and father-in law are in court today to finalize the adoption of two girls from the foster care system. While on vacation last week, we took a new family photo in honor of all the new family members (in addition to the girls, Leah also had her baby recently). My in-laws are amazing! The journey they are on is not an easy one by any stretch of the imagination. Yet they are putting their faith into practice and are doing what Christ asks of us, "to look after the widows and orphans." I pray that the Lord blesses them and fills their home with peace, joy, and laughter.
